Why I Love Her
I wouldn't call myself a kinnie or a yumeshipper or anything, but I really do love Luka. She's a vocaloid, so her personality is up to the artists using her voice and image. But, purely based off her box art, promotional collaborations, and the way she's advertised, she is definitely my favorite vocal-synth and favorite character of all time. I remember first listening to Ievan Polka in 5th grade, and then I discovered songs beyond just Miku as I went into middle school and used the internet more often. I loved the way Luka's voice first sounded then, and I still love it now. She goes well with so many other vocal-synths, and is strong enough to sing by herself throughout hundreds of genres!! I also love her design- pink is my favorite color, and even though I don't like gold, I love it on her. I love all of her different Vocaloid box-arts, and even though anything that's not her original gets a lot of hate, I still think that Crypton nails her woodwind and brass inspired outfits every time. I just really really like her. So, yeah. She's not super moe like what's usually popular, but that's what makes her so special and I know a lot of you can agree. L-O-V-E Luka!!!!!
Collection Updates:
I recently purchased a bunch of small things from MercariJP using a proxy... the shipping was so expensive TwT.... but hopefully it'll be here in a week or two.
My first ever Luka figure was her orginal nendoroid, which I think I got in the eighth grade.
I sleep with the big fuwa every night, which is why she's not on the regular plushie shelf (she also doesn't fit LOL). Her hair is super soft and she's the perfect size for hugging ^w^
I love acrylic stands so much, sometimes even more than figures.... the Sirotan and Symphony ones are some of the rarest items I have. Their collab merch is way too hard to find even on Japanese sites!!!
The frame above the keychain holder has a lot of artwork and stickers made by my friend. I seriously don't have enough fanmade merch! There's always so much thought and love put into it.
